In the meantime, according to the recent report of The Telegraph, the All-Stars match will be played on 25th March, just four days before the opening game of IPL 2020.

As per the media reports surfacing, Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai) will host the All-Stars match. Wankhede Stadium will also host the opening game of the IPL 2020 between defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 29th March.

However, according to the previous media reports, the franchises haven’t shown much interest in the All-Stars match. Due to the various reasons, including injury risks, the franchises are worried about this match.

On the other hand, the IPL schedule has been delayed to come out due to some unresolved issues. One of the issues is about hosting the home matches of Rajasthan Royals. While the franchise wants to organise some home matches in IPL 2020 at Guwahati, which is their second home venues, the officials from Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) are not supporting this decision. They have filed a PIL in Jaipur court.
