On Thursday (1st August), England and Australia will meet at Edgbaston (Birmingham) to begin the first Test of the Ashes 2019. It will also be the opening Test of the inaugural ICC World Test Championship (2019-21).

While it is the five-match Test series, every win will add 24 points for the winning side. Meanwhile, both teams will earn 12 points for each tie and 8 points for each draw in this Ashes 2019.
