According to the latest report in The Indian Express, the bookies and match-fixers have taken the control of a TNPL franchise after completing an illegal deal with the team owner. Now, they are managing that team for their benefit. The BCCI is also fearing that the bookies and match-fixers are now spreading in other teams.

The ACU chief is confident that there is no international player involved in this matter.

Meanwhile, the report also added some crucial information from the ACU investigators. It claims that Gujarat and Kolkata-based bookies and a fixer have been touch with an owner of a TNPL team. The fixer was allegedly involved in the tainted  Rajputana Cricket League.
