Yet another one-sided game takes place in the ongoing Big Bash League 2018-19: Melbourne Renegades thrashed Perth Scorchers in the 43rd match of the tournament by a fair margin of 78 runs. Daniel Christian and Chris Tremain are the stars for Melbourne, who completely dominated things with their stunning bowling display.
1st Innings:
Initially, it was Perth Scorchers, who won the toss and elected to bowl first. Aaron Finch once again failed to knock runs for the team, as he walked back for 4 to his name. Meanwhile, the other opener Harvey and in-form Harper batted brilliantly to put Perth fielders chasing the leather.

However, Andrew Tye ended the domination of Harvey while M Kelly rattled through the defence of Sam Harper. This let down their run rate, as the team ended up scoring 157 on the board, who once expected to put a massive tally on the board.
M Kelly bagged a couple of wickets while Andrew Tye and Usman Qadir picked one wicket each. Melbourne Renegades ended up scoring 50 runs in their last 7 overs, which showed the brilliant death bowling by Perth bowlers.
2nd Innings:
In reply, it was one of the horrible starts, a cricket team would ever ask. They got 12 runs in their kitty at the end of 6-overs powerplay. In addition to the troubles, they lost 4 wickets as well. The man of the match awardee, Chris Tremain was the wrecker-in-chief with 3 wickets for 4 runs in the powerplay overs.
After the onslaught by Chris Tremain, it was Daniel Christian, who showed his class. He sent back 4 batsmen in the middle overs to guide Melbourne Renegades for a massive victory. Kane Richardson also garnered the figures of 1/6 in his 3 overs.
In total, Perth Scorchers were bundled out for 79 runs. Daniel Christian picked up 4 wickets while Chris Tremain bagged 3 wickets. Cameron Boyce chipped in with a couple of wickets alongside Richardson’s single wicket.
