Though Sreesanth has got many memorable moments in his brief career to remember, one incident that would never go out of cricket fanatics mind would be his slapgate controversy. The veteran off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh slapped Sreesanth during the 2008 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is one of the most shocking moments in the game of cricket.

Meanwhile, the former fast bowler, who is currently staying in Big Boss house reveals his version on it. Sreesanth cited he felt shocked and helpless when the incident took place.
In the latest captaincy task, the contestants Deepak Thakur and Surbhi Rana were asked to report some breaking news from the house. Deepak tried to make contestants open up regarding their journey in the house so far. Meanwhile, Surbhi asked Sreesanth to let the people know about his infamous incident with Harbhajan Singh.

Speaking of it, Sreesanth revealed he has always tried to see himself in a healthy environment during the matches. And then, he went on to say adding he visited Harbhajan Singh to wish hard luck for losing the game.
But, surprisingly, Harbhajan Singh took it in a wrong way, where he couldn’t control his emotion and gave a slap on his face. Sreesanth, who was taking baby steps in his cricketing career cannot do much and felt helpless in reverting. Further, he added that Harbhajan Singh had actually hit him with a force, not just slapped.

The visuals after the incident displayed Sreesanth letting his tears out while his teammates tried to console him. However, after the incident, Harbhajan Singh visited the Kerala Pacer personally and conveyed his sorry as well.
Harbhajan got banned for the remainder of IPL 2008
Digging out the real reason, Harbhajan, who got appointed as Mumbai Indians’ skipper, failed to taste success in the first three games. Adding to that, the KXIP fast bowler, who gave an aggressive send-off to his batsmen certainly didn’t do well with the Punjab lad.

Though these things should be on the field, Harbhajan crossed the line. The referee Farokh Engineer banned him from the remainder of the IPL 2008 and also refrained him from taking his IPL salary for the season.
