Sometimes, it even asks the player to give their all in order to deliver for the team. However, only a few cricketers will be up for it with courage. One of them is Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar.
Cricket fanatics knew how fierce competitor Shoaib Akhtar during his times for Pakistan. With a long run-up and extreme Pace, Akhtar used to threaten the batsman in the middle with his accurate line and lengths at a solid pace. The flamboyant fast bowler played throughout his career with injuries and off them, a knee injury was something, which never let him free. He used to play by draining blood from his knees before and after every match.

“I was taken to the doctors after my first Test match and they told me I had about two years remaining. Doctors used to drain blood out of my knees before and after every match, fellow cricketers used to think that I was off to some club when in reality I would be at the hospital getting injected by four syringes,” Shoaib Akhtar revealed on his YouTube channel.
“After 22 years, my knee will finally be fixed. The doctors are going to replace my right knee,” Akhtar said on his YouTube channel. He further added that it will be the first time in his life that his knees will be pain-free.
