India won the last Test match against West Indies on Monday (2nd August) by 257 runs. It was the successful tour for India as India won all the series – T20I with 3-0, ODI with 2-0 and Test Series with 2-0. It was a remarkable win for India. The skipper Virat Kohli is in all praise for his team.

The overall contribution of the team was commendable. Ishant Sharma‘s five-wicket haul in the first Test match and a half-century in the second Test match. Jasprit Bumrah first Test hat trick in the second Test match. Ajinkya Rahane‘s century after two years in the first Test Match. The young player Hanuma Vihari’s century and 53 not out in the second Test match, as well as 32 and 93 runs in the first Test, were the great contributions. The whole Team performed well together and finally, India won the Test series by 2-0.
On part of West Indies, it was an unlucky series for them. Though The captain Jason Holder performed his best as he took six wickets in the second Test match, the batting unit’s performance was disappointing.
Virat Kohli Appreciates Hanuma Vihari
Virat Kohli was happy with the team’s performance, especially with the 25-year old Hanuma Vihari. After the second Test match, Virat Kohli was praising the performance of the young player.
“Hanuma was the standout batsman in this game. Contributions all around. Was a game full of grit and determination. According to the surface, it was a top-class innings (Vihari). He’s someone who is sure of his game and it shows. Dressing room feels calm when he’s batting. That’s a quality he possesses naturally. He’s willing to improve. Accepts and corrects his mistakes. Plays with a lot of heart. Always up to do anything for the team. It’s a very young career so far but he’s shown why he’s been backed and selected in this team,” said Virat Kohli.
