India will look to seal the series whereas England will aim to stay alive.

The World Cup grand finale is exactly 365 days away and there is every possibility that two giant forces of cricket; England and India could be contesting for it.

However, a year is a long time and both these One-day Internationals heavyweights will look to get rid of any detrimental flaw.

In fact, there is no doubt that England’s team meetings discussion topic will be Kuldeep Yadav. ‘How to play him’, would be the top question in the head of the host’s batsmen.

Thus, the English batters who have given a schoolboy treatment to other team’s bowling department. English batters are expected to give more respect to the chinaman.

Kuldeep will look to dismantle England again:

Therefore, England will be wary of their approach against Kuldeep. They could be talking about taking 30-35 runs from the mystery spinner owing to his 10-over quota and not give him wickets. Consequently, they can aim to take a shot against the other Indian bowlers.

Meanwhile, India has ticked the right boxes on the England tour thus far especially given the fact that they didn’t have services of Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Ergo, Virat Kohli will like to keep taking the right steps towards the ultimate goal.

However, India’s middle order hasn’t been put on the ropes. The top order batters have done the bulk of the scoring. Thus, India would want more from their middle order especially from the number four position which has remained the team’s, Achilles Heel.

Thus, it would be a golden opportunity for KL Rahul to end the discussion for one and all. The flamboyant batsman is batting at the top of his game and it would be a perfect chance for him to cement his place.

India will want to test their middle order.

Meanwhile, India will also be sweating over the fitness of their pack leader Bhuvneshwar. The swing master has looked a bit off colour and he would be determined to make a comeback.

On the other hand, England will look to strike back the counter punch after taking the first blow to their chin. They have played some brilliant limited-overs cricket in the recent past.

Therefore, they would look forward to the challenge that is pushing them to the limits.
