Indian senior off-spinner Harbhajan Singh congratulated his former national teammate Gautam Gambhir for securing a great victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
In this March, former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In the latest Lok Sabha election, Gambhir has fought from East Delhi. While it was his maiden election experience, Gambhir is leading by more than 1.5 lakh votes from the second position Arvinder Singh Lovely (Indian National Congress).
Even ahead of the final result, the 38-year-old Harbhajan Singh congratulated Gautam Gambhir for his maiden election victory.
On his official Twitter account, Harbhajan wrote, “Congratulations my brother for your win @GautamGambhir more power to you @BJP4India.”

Later, Gambhir also replied Harbhajan Singh with a thankful message.
He replied through his official Twitter account, “Thanks a lot Bhajji paa. Ur wishes mean a lot to me. Just hoping to make a difference to as many lives as possible. Saw a glimpse of you in @IPL, the turn, the bounce everything is there Phaji. लगता है picture अभी बाक़ी है।.”

Gautam Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh played together for India for a long time
Harbhajan Singh and Gautam Gambhir played together for Indian national cricket team for a long time. In their international career, Harbhajan and Gambhir played together in 132 matches (37 Tests, 73 ODIs and 22 T20Is).

Both of them played crucial roles for the national team to win the 2007 ICC World T20 and 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Last time they played together for India in the Mumbai Test against England in November 2012. However, they are still a very good friend off the field.
In last December, Gambhir retired from professional cricket. Meanwhile, Harbhajan isn’t playing regular cricket, but he is participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
From 2003 to 2016, Gambhir played 58 Tests, 147 ODIs and 37 T20Is for the national team. The left-handed opening batsman scored 4,154 Test runs (average 41.95), 5,238 ODI runs (average 39.68) and 932 T20I runs (average 27.41).
Meanwhile, the off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has played 103 Tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20Is from 1998 to 2016. He has taken 417 Test wickets, 269 ODI wickets and 25 T20I wickets.
