Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) has announced to refund the tickets of the first T20I match between India and South Africa. The match was scheduled on September 15 at Dharamshala but no ball was played because of the continuous rain.

The match was declared abandoned and rain once again levelled down all the excitement of the crowd. The announcement was made on Tuesday by HPCA as the toss was not held. It is to be noticed that more and more matches are being interrupted by rain.

Between September 19 and 22, the customer who bought the ticket offline from the official stadium box office at gate no.1 will get the refund. If the payment was done through card then the customer should carry it also.

Timings to get the refund is 10 am to 7 pm and the customer will have to bring their government-issued photo ID proof. According to the face value of Ticket, the money will be refunded. And according to the rule, a person can refund only for 4 tickets and is same for purchasing.

The refund of tickets of West Stand (West 1, 2 & 3), Pavilion Terrace and Corporate Boxes will also be done on Thursday (19th September). Tickets of East Stand (East 1, 2 & 3) and Club Lounge Pavilion will be refunded on Friday (20th September). The refunds of tickets of North Stand, North Pavilion and North West will be done on Saturday (21 September) and Sunday (22nd September).

The customers who have bought the ticket online will get the refund in 10-12 days from Tuesday (24th September) onwards.

Indian crowd was hoping that they might get a chance to see their favourites playing in the ground. But all hopes went to vain when the rain didn’t stop even for a minute. They have to go home without seeing the match.
