I Am Facing A Challenge: Kuldeep Yadav On Not Getting Place In Playing XI
The team management is trying new combinations keeping in mind the next year T20 World Cup. Kuldeep is waiting for his opportunity and working hard to grab the chance.
Kuldeep made the debut in the Indian team in 2017. Sue to his unique style of bowling, the player got more fame and also proved beneficial for the team. Since his debut, he has picked 24 wickets in the 6 Test matches, 96 wickets in 53 ODIs and 35 wickets in 18 T20I matches.
In the World Cup 2019, he had a poor outing after which he has hardly earned the chance in the national team. He has not played a T20I series after the tournament. Kuldeep Yadav told PTI that he is working hard to get back his position in the team.
“When I started playing cricket, never thought I would play for India. I have been playing for India close to three years now, there will be many challenges, like the one I am facing at the moment,” Kuldeep told PTI when asked about the challenges he is facing in his career now.
“There is nothing without hard work and discipline and I continue to play the game with that approach,” he added.
Kuldeep Yadav hasn’t clarified whether the selectors have told any reason for his exclusion
When asked that the selectors have told any reason behind his ouster from the T20I side, he chooses to add no comments on the subject.
“I will talk about it when the Test series is over,” Kuldeep concluded.
Indian team is currently playing the Test series against South Africa. The last and third match of Test series will begin from 19th October in Ranchi.
