With India set to face New Zealand at the ICC World Cup 2019 semi-final at Old Trafford in Manchester on Tuesday (July 8), reports suggested that rain will mar the semi-final game between the two teams. In between, many went on to maintain the rain will continue on its reserve day, also. However, there is some good news for the fans of both teams.

Also, the light rain is expected to halt the marquee clash. But the result is expected in between.

Earlier, the Black Caps become the fourth team based on a strong net run-rate. Also, Pakistan had 11 points, but with their net run-rate into minus.

Both teams are yet to face off each other at the ICC World Cup 2019. Earlier, on June 13, their league stage game ended on without any result due to inclement weather in Nottingham. Thus, they shared a point each following a wet outfield.

With weather mostly cloudy for Monday (July 8) in Manchester, the weatherman revealed the weather would be cloudy on Tuesday (July 9), with light rain expected too.
