New Zealand pacers made conditions miserable for India’s batting line up. In the first Test match, India could not touch the mark of 200. Well, in the second Test match, the visitors came up with a better show but can not set up big totals.

Earlier, Kiwis won the first game by 10 wickets while the second one with seven wickets.

India could not set up a fighting total against the Black Caps. At Basin Reserve, except Mayank Agarwal and Ajinkya Rahane, all the other batsmen had a poor show with the bat. Besides, nothing changed for India in the second Test match at Hagley Oval.

In Christchurch, India put up 242 runs on the scoreboard in the first innings but it was not sufficient in front of the hosts batting line up. Kiwi brought their bowling attack back in India’s second innings, halting them at 124, which was another below-par total.

All in all, none of India’s premier batsman took up the charge of the game and they were bundled out in both the innings.
