The inexperienced Indian bowlers performed very well in that Mohali T20I. Their tight bowling helped India to restrict the visitors to 149/5 (20 overs). Then, the opener Shikhar Dhawan (40) and the captain Virat Kohli (72*) guided the hosts to the comfortable victory.
The Indian youngsters and newcomers are performing well in the recent T20Is. Team management is currently busy to set up a proper team for the ICC men’s T20 World Cup 2020.
Meanwhile, South Africa are also playing this T20I series with an inexperienced squad. Quinton de Kock made debut as T20I captain during the Mohali T20I where he shined with the bat but his team struggled. The inexperienced side missed the experienced players in that game.
To save this T20I series, South Africa need to improve their all-round performances with the present inexperienced squad. South African team is hugely relied on the IPL experienced players like Quinton de Kock, David Miller and Kagiso Rabada.
There is no injury news from both sides. All the players are fit and available for the Bengaluru T20I.
