Indian players may be seen in the inauguration Pakistan Super League (PSL) which will be played in T-20 format, starting from 4th February 2016 in Dubai and Sharjah. Rajiv Shukla is showing his interest to allow Indian players in the PSL.
Rajiv Shukla said, “So far we have not got any such query from the PCB but if they do contact us on this topic we will look into it.”
Najam Sethi, the head of the PSL also indicated to invite some Indian players in this league.
BCCI did not allow their players in the foreign T-20 league. But presently it is showing that the BCCI is going unbound there rules.
BCCI did not want to play the bilateral series against Pakistan at UAE in this year. That is the reason the series is now going to host at Sri Lanka as a neutral venue.
Pakistan remains silent about the details of the inauguration PSL.
Rajiv Shukla also speaks about the issue of playing in UAE. He said, “We understand the predicament of Pakistan cricket but at same time I think the PCB needs to realise that they have to draw a line somewhere when it comes to playing its home matches in UAE.”
Rajiv Shukla also wished to play in Pakistan if the security remains ok. He revealed, “We would be willing to play in Pakistan at such a safe venue if the appropriate security assurances were given to us and the ICC also got gave security approval.”
