May 2, 2016 at 4:45 PM
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Bengaluru on Monday night.
The batting superpower RCB has not started well in the IPL 2016 as they have only won 2 matches out of 6 matches while they have lost the other 4 matches. On the other hand, KKR has started very well in the IPL 2016 but those were slightly ruined out after their two consecutive losses in the last two matches. In the IPL 2016, KKR has won 4 matches out of 7 matches while they have lost other 3 matches. In the current points table standing, KKR is at no.4 with 8 points while RCB at no.7 with 4 points.
RCB has enough good world-class power-hitter batsmen while after rejoining Chris Gayle in the team will make it more powerful. RCB batsmen are in very good form too in the ongoing IPL. But their main problem is in bowling as the team is suffering for lack of world class bowlers in the competition. Even the bowlers are finding it tough to defend the big total which is made by the batsmen. RCB has to need to find out this solution quickly.
On the other hand, the two-time IPL winner KKR has started very good in the IPL 2016 as they have won 4 matches out of first five matches. But in the last two matches, KKR faced defeats which make them need restart again with a win from the upcoming matches. However, it’s not necessary to panic at this level but the team needs to be more cautious from the current position.
In the previous 17 meetings, there had been a fighting clash between these two teams as RCB won 8 matches while KKR has a slight edge as they won 9 matches.
