IPL 2018: Watch – Dan Christian Castles Ishan Kishan to Halt Mumbai’s Run Flow
Apr 15, 2018 at 3:18 PM
Delhi Daredevils (DD) all-rounder Dan Christian has clean bowled Ishan Kishan as the latter was on his way to take the game out of Delhi Daredevils’ hand.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians got off to a flier banking on Surya Kumar Yadav and Evin Lewis. The duo added 102 runs in nine overs before the departure of southpaw Lewis. Lewis hammered 48 off 28 balls with the help of four boundaries and four sixes respectively.
However, Kishan joined the party exactly from where Lewis left. He played an attacking game as the bowlers went in search of the leather.
Amidst Kishan’s blistering knock, Kumar reached his half-century and continued his good run in the tournament.
It is tough for the bowlers on a flat deck like this and they went for plenty.
Kishan went all guns blazing taking the attack to the opposition. He scored a quickfire 44 in just 23 deliveries as Mumbai went past 150 run mark.
However, in the 16th over of the match, Christian castled Kishan’s stumps with a perfect delivery.
Kishan switched his leg to play a reverse sweep and completely misses a full toss. It rams into his middle and leg stump from round the wicket.
Meanwhile, there was no need of playing this rash shot as he was doing a decent job of hitting straight down the ground.
The wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan played a great hand as Mumbai inched towards the 200-run mark.
Meanwhile, Delhi and Mumbai are both coming from the back of two defeats and will like to change their fate in the ongoing fixture.
Pertinently, Rohit Sharma-led side registered 194 for seven in 20 allotted overs.
