The runners-up of the previous season, Chennai Super Kings will begin their IPL 2020 campaign against reigning champions Mumbai Indians at Wankhede on March 29. MS Dhoni-led will play their last league match on 14th May against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chennai has always come up with consistent performances in the IPL and they would aim to replicate the same.
On the other hand, it would be interesting to see MS Dhoni back in action. The legendary wicket-keeper batsman hasn’t played any professional cricket since India’s exit from the World Cup. Thus, it would be interesting to note how he would fare out.
Dhoni will be back in action.
Meanwhile, CSK got some good buys in the IPL auction. They were able to rope in the services of experienced spinner Piyush Chawla for a whopping 6.75 crores. Furthermore, they also bought rising England all-rounder Sam Curran along with Australia’s Test specialist Josh Hazlewood.
