The two Indian cricketers Yuzvendra Chahal and Piyush Chawla were recently invited to the sets of the famous Kapil Sharma show. The two spinners made hilarious revelations about the dressing room and their cricket journeys in the national team. The show is hosted by Kapil Sharma where famous personalities are invited to either promote their movies or just for entertainment purposes.
The leg-spinner who rose to the national side with his consistent form for the Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) is among one of the quirky cricketers of the team. Chahal is known for his witty comments and chubby nature, teasing even the senior cricketers in the India National Cricket Team.
While Chahal has paved his way through the team with his iconic IPL 2014, Chawla, on the other hand, dropped out of the national side while his well-disguised googly raised him in the IPL editions.
Chahal reveals how he’d steal skipper Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s bat
In the meantime, the quirky spinner Chahal made some interesting and hilarious revelations during the Kapil Sharma show at the Sony tv. During the conversation at the show, Chahal revealed how and why he would steal skipper Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s bats during matches and practices.
Chahal also opened up about his cricket experience in the limited-overs game while also telling why he wouldn’t use his own bat in matches.
The 29-years-old Indian cricketer said that even the fellow squad members are now used to him stealing their bat and prepared likely for the situation.
“Yes this is true. When the bats are distributed amongst the players they are distributed according to their batting talents. I always observe who has got the lightest weight bat and I usually use their bat. Now even players are sure and prepared that I will take their bat. Mai mauka dekh ke halka bat maar leta hoon,” Chahal said on the show explaining why he steals Kohli and Rohit’s bat.
Nevertheless, the Chahal is included in the on-going T20I series against the visiting Sri Lanka but has not thrown any number of overs in the only conducted match at Indore. Meanwhile, he is also included in the three-match home One-Day International series against Australia who will visit India right after the T20I series against Sri Lanka is over.
