Rajasthan Royals (RR) was the first team to win the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy as Shane Warne led that team to finish as the champions in the inaugural IPL season (2008). However, since then, Rajasthan Royals have never reached another IPL final yet.

While the franchise faced a two-year suspension for their involvement in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing and betting case, they managed to reach the playoffs in the IPL 2013, IPL 2015 and IPL 2018. However, except the IPL 2013, they failed to reach the Qualifier 2, while they suffered a defeat in the Qualifier 2 during the IPL 2013.

In recent times, Rajasthan Royals have struggled to maintain their consistency. In the last IPL season (2019), they finished in the seventh position. However, the franchise has made crucial several changes to improve their luck in the IPL 2020 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Here we are talking about the top four reasons why Rajasthan Royals can win the IPL 2020.

In the last few years, Rajasthan Royals have struggled due to the lack of power-hitters. It doesn’t mean that they hadn’t proper power-hitter batsmen, but those numbers were too small and the team was mostly over-dependent on them during the death overs. But now they have enough players in this list after the addition of David Miller, Robin Uthappa etc. Also, it is not to be forgotten that they have retained the players like Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Steven Smith etc. All these names are excellent to play responsible knocks with the help of their big-hitting abilities.
