In the fourth match of the IPL 2020, Rajasthan Royals (RR) are facing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Sharjah Cricket Stadium (Sharjah) on this evening.

It is the first game for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2020. The inaugural IPL champions (2008) Rajasthan Royals ended their journey in the IPL 2019 in the seventh position. While Steven Smith has retained his leadership role of this team for the IPL 2020, which he regained in the middle of the last season, Andrew McDonald has replaced Paddy Upton in the Head Coach role of this team for this season.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings started this new IPL season with a victory. In the opening game of the IPL 2020, the three-time IPL champions and last season’s finalists CSK faced the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at Abu Dhabi on last Saturday (19th September) evening.

In the last IPL season (2019), Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings met twice where the Yellow Army won both those matches.

After winning the toss, Dhoni said, “We will bowl first. Dew is a factor. I feel this is venue where the pitch will be different from the other two venues. I don’t know how hard the surface will be. We have one change. Rayudu is not 100 percent. Adaptability is the key in the shortest format. We have to quickly understand the wicket.”

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals captain Steven Smith said after losing the toss –

“Took a little bit longer than I would have liked. Myself, Tom Curran, Archer and Miller. I have been involved with the Royals since 2014, it has been a while apart from a couple of years. I have heard about him in the last few weeks.”
