Lack of well-established openers has been one of the weakest links in Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) camp for over the years. Although they had likes of Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn, the duo cant be called as perfect opening pair that a team wants in a tournament like IPL. Last year, the problem came out in open and there were talks to promote Shubman Gill in the batting order. He did open but not regularly.
