Kamran Akmal, the out-of-favour Pakistan cricketer picked Rohit Sharma’s name as the one with the best six-hitting ability. The 38-year-old batsman Kamran has been a consistent player in the domestic circuit of Pakistan. Before the domestic career, Akmal played a vital both as a batsman and a fine wicket-keeper for the Pakistan cricket team. However, he was sidelined due to his poor show.

The wicketkeeper-batsman paved his way through the national squad of Pakistan cricket as an aggressive hitter coming in to bat at the fifth as well as opening inning for his national side. With the odds in his favour, Akmal came in as the effective opener in both Test and ODIs.

However, his form against touring England in 2005 became one of his best performances as the opening batsman. Akmal smashed consecutive performances against the English team.

Being one of the hard-hitting batsmen himself, Akmal was asked to name the cricketer whose sixes impresses him. And the wicketkeeper-batsman of Pakistan picked the name of India’s ‘HITMAN’, Rohit Sharma.

Although there have been many greatest batsmen in the cricketing world, there ain’t nobody like the Mumbaikar Rohit.

The 32-year-old opener has over the years set his impression as the aggressive hitter in the limited-overs cricket. Rohit surpassed the world’s top-ranked ODI batsman, Virat Kohli in the limited-overs game and ended up being named as the ICC Men’s ODI Player of the Year.

He amassed a total of 1490 runs at an average nearing 60 in the 27 innings of the 50-overs game. He bagged seven centuries and six half-centuries in the white-ball game.

Whereas in the ICC World Cup 2019, Rohit became the first batsman to have hit more than 500 runs in the single tournament of the coveted title event.

Kamran Akmal admires Rohit Sharma for his sixes:

Kamran, on the other hand, has been out of the national side ever since he last donned Pakistan jersey in April 2017 in the ODI and T20I games against the West Indies. He has made 2648 runs in 53 Test matches with the help of six centuries, while in 138 ODI innings, he has aggregated 3236 runs with the help of five centuries.

However, he has been giving his best in the domestic cricket leagues such as Pakistan Super League (PSL). And is hopeful of having a second go in the international cricket for the Men in Green.

In the meantime, Kamran, like the other veteran cricketers, has taken part in the question/answer session on Twitter.

During the session, a cricket fan asked the wicket-keeper to name one cricketer whose sixes he like most. It took him no time to pick the Indian top-order batsman Rohit Sharma, irrespective of the format he is playing in.

Earlier in 2019, Rohit made a debut entry as the opener in the red-ball game versus South Africa and ended up hitting a double ton in the game.

From the very start of the innings, Rohit cleared his intentions to score big in the game. He is keen to recover in time to deliver for his senior team.
