With Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer and Chris Woakes already missing the series due to injuries and Ben Stokes taking an indefinite break to focus on his mental wellbeing, England had fielded a depleted XI and now, Mark Wood, too, might join the list of absentees. England has called up Dawid Malan and Saqib Mahmood for the 3rd Test. Dominic Sibley and Zak Crawley have lost their spots. With Mark Wood’s injury, Mahmood, a veteran of 7 ODIs and 9 T20Is, is in line for a place in the starting XI as he is yet to debut in the Tests.
