Indian pacer Mohammed Shami has once again come in the trouble. Arrest warrants have been issued against Shami and his brother in the domestic violence case that has been filled by Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan.
According to the latest report of ANI, on Monday (2nd September), Alipore Court (Kolkata, West Bengal) has issued arrest warrants against Mohammed Shami and his brother Hasid Ahmed. It is in connection with the domestic violence case which Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan has filled.
The Alipore Court has given both Shami and Hasid 15 days to surrender or apply for bail. Shami is currently busy to play for India in the ongoing Test series against the host side Windies at Sabina Park (Kingston, Jamaica).

Since early 2018, Shami and his family facing trouble against Hasin Jahan’s allegations. Hasin Jahan lodged an FIR against Shami and his family in domestic violence and adultery. She put in charges against Shami for attempted murder, rape and adultery.
Hasin also alleged Shami for having relations with the other girls. She further alleged him for involving in match-fixing.
However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) later removed Shami from the match-fixing charges after not getting any evidence on that.
In last April, the Uttar Pradesh police arrested Hasin Jahan for making chaos outside Shami’s house. Later, she was released on bail.

Mohammed Shami recently completed 150 Test wickets
Currently, Shami is busy in the ongoing Jamaica Test where India have set the fourth innings target of 468 runs for the Windies. During the first innings of Windies in this Test, Shami took two wickets (2/34). Moreover, he took another wicket in the second innings till the end of day three of this Test match.
During Windies’ first innings, Shami claimed his 150th Test wicket. Playing his 42nd Test match, Shami completed his 150 Test wickets. He became the third-fastest Indian pacer to complete 150 Test wickets.
The 28-year-old right-arm pacer has also played 70 ODIs and seven T20Is where he has taken 131 and eight wickets respectively.
