Ravindra Jadeja, who finally started training last week, hit the nets after two months gap. The star all-rounder wasn’t able to hide his excitement of holding the bat and ball in the nets.

In January, Ravindra Jadeja had suffered a blow to his left thumb while batting on Day 3 of the third Test against Australia. He had later gone for scans and the results showed that he had dislocated his thumb.

He has played 51 Tests, 168 ODIs, and 50 T20Is. But in case Ravindra Jadeja does not play the ODI series, he is likely to return to action in the upcoming IPL which is scheduled to start on April 11.
India Gearing Up To Face England In 3 T20Is
Meanwhile, India is currently preparing for the five-match T20I series against England which gets underway on Friday. India is high on morale after clinching the four-match Test series 3-1 and making it into the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand.
The Men in Blue have some newcomers in their squad and all of them have high potential to start firing from the first game itself. The likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Rahul Tewatia, and Ishan Kishan have impressed in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and it has finally seen them being rewarded with a place in the Indian squad for the T20I series.
Varun Chakravarthy, the spinner has repeatedly failed to clear the fitness test at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru while yorker specialist T Natarajan is yet to join the squad due to an apparent “shoulder niggle”.
Rahul Chahar will be inducted into the squad as he is already in the bio-bubble since the start of the Test series. Rahul Chahar has played a solitary T20I where he picked a wicket back in 2019 against West Indies.
Meanwhile, spinner all-rounder, Rahul Tewatia is training with the Indian team in Ahmedabad as he awaits his second fitness Test results.
