The Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma is on the verge of creating another world record in T20I history. He has to hit only two more sixes in T20I cricket to become the batsman with most sixes in T20Is.
Recently, Rohit Sharma became the most run-scorer in T20I history, Surpassing the New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill (2,272 T20I runs), Rohit Sharma has scored 2,326 runs in T20I career.
Moreover, he also became the leading six-hitter in international cricket as an Indian batsman. While MS Dhoni has hit 348 international sixes, Rohit Sharma has already hit 349 international sixes.
Now, Rohit Sharma is very close to becoming the leader in the most sixes in the T20I career list. He is currently in the third position with 102 T20I sixes. Only Chris Gayle (Windies) and Martin Guptill (New Zealand) are ahead of him as both have hit 103 T20I sixes.

Rohit Sharma has the great chance in the upcoming India-Australia T20I series
India is ready to face Australia at home in the limited-overs series. Before the five-match ODI series, India and Australia will play 2 T20Is. They will play these T20I matches on 24 and 27 February at Visakhapatnam and Bengaluru respectively.
The Indian limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma has the excellent opportunity to achieve this record in the upcoming home series. He has to hit only two sixes to becoming the leader in the most sixes in the T20Is.
