Sanju Samson, who finally got the place in the playing XI in the recently ended home T20I series against Sri Lanka, has been dropped for the next T20I series against Kiwi when India will tour New Zealand at the end of the January to play five-match T20I series, three-match ODI series, and two-match Test series. Fans have targeted BCCI on Twitter after Sanju Samson was snubbed from the squad.
Last year in the home series, Sanju Samson was included in the T20I side from Bangladesh series. But, he was not given the place in playing XI. He was benched against the Tigers and Windies as Rishabh Pant was getting continuous chances.

Finally, in the third and last T20I match against Sri Lanka at Pune, Samson got the chance in place of Pant. Albeit, the Kerala player could not impress with that chance after a four-year-long wait. In that Pune T20I, he struck six in the first ball, but in the very next ball, he got out. Samson was also disappointed as he left the ground with an angry face.
Fans are angry after Sanju Samson’s removal
Now, he is dropped from the T20I side that will tour in New Zealand. The fans are not happy with the selectors who have decided to drop him after giving just one chance. Angry fans said that it is unfair to give Samson only one chance in comparison to Rishabh Pant. Here are some of the reactions by the supporter of Sanju Samson.
Giving one chance to sanju samson and dropping is ?Heart breaking☹️

It is injustice shown to Sanju Samson by giving just 1 game to prove his mettle. If that's so then Rishabh Pant should have been dropped long time back. What kinda selection is this by MSK Prasad & co? How many matches MSK Prasad & co played altogether? Can BCCI disclose that pls?

Feel sad for Sanju Samson as he didn't do anything wrong. Selected after 4 years and Sitting in the bench and got one opportunity where he had to go from ball 1. It's actually little unfair for any youngsters. Should've play him in full series before dropping.

What #sanjusamson did wrong , and what pant did so good so far. U selected sanju and not given chance and now been dropped. Why?????how the selection cmmti think. I noticed many times that in kohli team evry player who have some style gets the place in team ex pant, rahul

What about #SanjuSamson when you are not interested to b part a of team then why were you selected him, if you want to give a chance any player give it properly.
यहा टीम तुम्हारे बाप या तुम्हारी नही है जो तुम पुरे देश को अपनी गलत निर्णय ओं का बलिदान करोगे, not acceptable— Shamkumar (@Ch_shamkumar) January 12, 2020
What the hell…… Why is Samju removed from the squad?? Can't understand the basis of judgement and selection @BCCI
How do we give 15-20 matches to few players to prove themselves and remove Sanju after one match#everytimestory

You back pant saying he needs more matches. And you ask sanju samson to pack things by one innings. And before that innings he was announced as official water boy for the team without oppertunity. Even in all these opportunities pant failed. #SanjuSamson

And the tale continues..
Sanju Samson synonyms consistency…for no reason he is consistently forced to sit in the benches & and he'll be consistently asked to serve drinks..
