Shane Warne slams TV programme presenter

Former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne slammed a TV programme presenter for criticising him. After a shock exit on Wednesday night from the Australian jungle reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”, Warne recently appeared on an Australian talk show “The Project”. Warne was asked a question relating to his charity being audited for fund mismanagement, which made not happy to Warne.
In “The Project”, co-host Waleed Aly asked Warne, “You and Fev were going to donate money to the charity. There’s been the audit. It wraps up next week. You are about to land back in Australia and land in the middle of that issue. What are you doing about that the moment you get back home?”
Warne replied Aly that it was disappointing that people want to criticise “good people that have raised money and made a serious difference to underprivileged children”.
Warne added, “You can get stuffed if you want to… have a go at us but we are very proud of what we have been able to achieve.
“If people want to have a crack at us for raising money and making a difference, go ahead. We have nothing to hide. We welcome any audit.”
But that discussion went hotter and Warne felt angry when Aly was wrapping up the interview by saying, “I am not sure the independent auditors will get stuffed but I’m sure we will see what they ultimately say.”
Warne replied by questioning, “You doubting me mate? You don’t think – we have something to hide?”
After ending of that programme, Warne tweeted that he felt disappointed with that show and also called Aly as “a dick”. Warne also said that he will not like to come back ever on “The Project”.
Disappoints me some journo’s think in an interview being a dick is cool. Tip, if u want people back don’t be inappropriate, arrogant or smug
