“They are different characters. In different situations, they make different choices. Whatever they feel right at one particular moment, they go with it. They, of course, discuss with each other. When Rohit is leading, he discusses with me, when Virat is leading he discusses with Rohit and me too,” Shikhar Dhawan said.

In three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, he took some praiseworthy decision. He always stood with his team. Virat Kohli’s absence was not felt in the home series. Shreyas Iyer and Shivam Dube after the match also opined that Rohit Sharma’s Pep talk really helped them in gaining confidence in the field.

“We’ve got one year. Whatever we have to plan we are planning it now and then only we can reach the final combination. I’m confident that this time we’ll come back with the cup,” Shikhar Dhawan said to Hindustan Times.

Virat Kohli has been the best in every format. The captain is currently leading the No.1 Test team in Indore grounds. The two-match Test series has also a challenging task for the captain. The team will play its first day-night Test match in Eden Gardens (Kolkata), starting from 22nd November.
