Jasprit Bumrah, who has been called a dangerous bowler for the batsmen, is the no.1 ODI bowler. In his praise, the legend Sir Vivian Richards said that he would like to face Dennis Lillee but not Bumrah. He is a diamond for India till he remains fit he is a danger for the batsman.
With his bowling action and skills, he has thrashed many set players in the field. He has played ten Test matches and taken 49 wickets for his team. With his some great debut performances, he was taken to the Indian team, and the decision didn’t prove to be wrong.

“I would prefer to face Dennis Lillee rather than Bumrah because he doesn’t have a perfect action. With Lillee you can see what he is doing, but not with Bumrah. In Bumrah, India have a diamond in their armoury. As long as he remains fit, he is going to trouble a lot of batsmen for a long time to come,” he told Economic Times.
Virat Kohli has the same attitude as me – Sir Vivian Richards
The 67-year-old also appreciated the passion Virat Kohli has. He has thought that Kohli has the same passion of leadership he used to have.
“I have a lot of respect for Virat. I see a lot of our attitudes as similar — we are both so passionate about our leadership, we are passionate about how our fieldsmen should behave, to do upright things, be driven and that’s why he is captain. This guy leads from the front and I enjoy as well as appreciate that. I love his passion,” Sir Vivian Richards said.
Meantime, India was not able to give any productive result in the first Test match against West Indies. The top-order batsmen were out early. Ajinkya Rahane, the vice-captain, was only the high scorer with 81 run Knock.
