Sports Flashes bags BCCI audio broadcast rights

New Delhi, Oct 3: Sports Flashes, a Multi-sports App and country’s first online radio channel, has bagged the audio rights for Indian cricket for a global audience, it was announced on Wednesday BCCI

With this, Indian Cricket will be broadcast live around the world on radio. The rights are allotted for five years, according to a statement which is silent on the financial implications of the deal.

Sports Flashes will be using the services of the world known commentators like Carl Hooper, Ricardo Powell, Syed Kirmani, Mohammad Kaif, Atul Wassan, Rohan Gavaskar, Lisa Sthalekar, Reetinder Singh Sodhi and Ashok Malhotra from West Indies series, starting from October 4.

Commenting on the occasion, the West Indian cricket legend Carl Hooper said: “I am happy to be associated with the Sports Flashes and creating a World Class experience for cricket loving fans in my home country.”

Mohammad Kaif said: “With growing cricket lovers worldwide cricket needs to maximize its global outreach through avenues never heard before.”

Radio Sports Flashes was launched in January 2018 as 24×7 Internet Radio Channel, that broadcast Sports content like Live Chat Commentaries, Talk Shows, Special Sports Programs, Experts Comments, Sports News & Updates, Audio Documentaries, University Sports & Sportainment content.
