8. MS Dhoni conferred with honorary rank Lieutenant Colonel
MS Dhoni love for paramilitary forces is nothing new. He has often trained with them and has held them very highly. On November 1, 2011, the Indian Territorial Army conferred with honorary rank Lieutenant Colonel to Dhoni.
He became the only captain after Kapil Dev to receive this prestigious award.
