Twitteraties Start To Storm After Suryakumar Yadav Played A Stormy Knock In The Death Overs

Suryakumar Yadav is a familiar name in Indian cricket, thanks to the Indian Premier League (IPL). In recent times, he has performed well consistently whenever he has gotten the opportunities. Once again, he has impressed with his batting skills in the ongoing Deodhar Trophy, where he played a stormy knock in the death overs. After that knock, the twitteraties have demanded to watch Yadav in India’s ODI and T20I squads.
On Friday (1st November), India C and India A are facing each other in the second game of the Deodhar Trophy 2019/20. After winning the toss, the India C captain Shubman Gill decided to bat first. Openers Mayank Agarwal and Shubman Gill provided a perfect start for the team as they put the 226 runs partnership for the opening wicket.
Both the openers smashed good centuries in that innings. Agarwal scored 120 runs off 111 balls (15 fours and only six) and Gill scored 143 runs off 142 balls (10 fours and six sixes).
Suryakumar Yadav scored 72 not out off just 29 balls
In the last three overs of that innings, India C batsman Suryakumar Yadav showed his remarkable power-hitting skills. India C added a total of 61 runs in the last three overs while Yadav added 55 runs off just 14 balls in that period.
Suryakumar Yadav completed his half-century in just 24 balls. Yadav remained not out on 72 runs off just 29 balls while India C managed the giant first innings total of 366/3 (50 overs). In that top knock, Yadav hit nine fours and four sixes and ended with the strike-rate of 248.27.
Suryakumar Yadav is in superb form with the bat in recent times. In the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019/20, the Mumbai batsman Yadav scored 226 runs in four innings with an average of 113.00 and strike-rate of 154.79. In that tournament, Yadav scored 81 runs off 31 balls against Chhattisgarh and 85 not out off 71 balls against Saurashtra.
The Indian fans are surprised how the talent like Suryakumar Yadav hasn’t earned the Indian cap yet. Many want to see Yadav in ODI and T20I formats soon.
