India has overall showed a good performance on the second day against the Proteas. India’s top to lower-order batsmen had a contribution in the runs. The most entertaining part of the match was Umesh Yadav hitting sixes all around the field.

Then, the allrounder Ravindra Jadeja scored a half-century before leaving the field at a score of 450 runs. Umesh Yadav rubbed more salt to South Africa by hitting five sixes in just nine balls. At the second day of this Test, India declared after scoring 497 runs at the loss of nine wickets. Later, the Indian pacers picked up two crucial wickets of the visitors. Mohammed Shami picked the wicket of Dean Elgar who scored a century in the first Test match. Umesh Yadav Picked the wicket of Quinton de Kock who scored four runs.

Umesh Yadav makes comeback due to Jasprit Bumrah’s injury
It was unfortunate that Jasprit Bumrah picked up the injury but it converted as a fortune for Umesh Yadav. The pacer got the chance in the playing XI after a long time. He is completely filling the absence of yorker king. In the second Test match, he picked six wickets and in the ongoing third Test match, he also contributed with the bat as he scored 31 runs in just 10 balls.
