In the cricket world, New Zealand batsman Brendon McCullum is well known as furious batsman in all formats. Most of the bowlers fear to bowl at him. But what happened when world’s furious bowler bowled to him on a flat pitch?

Mitchell Starc who is one of the most furious bowler in the cricket world, broke McCullum’s bat with his furious pace.

The match was between Australia and New Zealand in the 2nd Test at Perth of the 3-Test match series in the late 2015. It was a flat pitch where the batsmen were dominating the bowlers. But world’s most furious bowlers Mitchell Starc couldn’t give up easily.

It was the 2nd session of day 3 of the Perth Test. In the final ball of the 87th over of New Zealand’s 1st innings, Starc bowled a perfect yorker with 154.8 kmph (96.2 mph) to McCullum which the right-handed batsman played. But McCullum’s bat was damaged on that furious delivery after breaking the right-corner at the bottom of the bat. After that, McCullum changed his bat immediately.

Not too far, just in next over, Starc kept that momentum and bowled fastest delivery in the Test cricket history at 160.4 kmph (99.7 mph) to another New Zealand right-handed batsman Ross Taylor and it was also a yorker.
