Days after receiving a new milestone on Instagram, Virat Kohli has now been grabbing the headlines again, as he achieves a new feat on the microblogging site-Twitter. The Indian skipper has proved if you chase excellence with grit and determination, everything would follow you. In the reports revealed, he is in the list of most valuable athletes on Twitter.

The living legend of the modern era, Kohli, is the big inspiration for the young breed of cricketers. The fans not only follow because of his game but he has a lot more to offer. He Keeps encouraging the fans to focus more on fitness.

The face of the Indian team is the most valuable Indian athlete. As per a report from Bleacher Report, Kohli is the fifth most valuable athlete on Twitter as he gets paid $350,101 per tweet that roughly equals to about INR 2.5 crore.

While the football icon Cristiano Ronaldo leads the list who pockets a mammoth $868,604 for each tweet which equals about INR 6 crore fora single tweet.

Following Ronaldo, his fellow football players Andres Iniesta and Neymar Jr. are at 2nd and 3rd who earn $590,825 and $478,138  per tweet respectively.

Interestingly, at number four the Basketball legend LeBron James gets paid $470,356 for each tweet.

The 31-year-old is also India’s most valuable celebrity. According to a study by a global advisory firm, Duff and Phelps, Kohli topped the brand valuation list for the third consecutive year, as his value rose by an impressive 39 per cent to $237.5 million in 2019.

Kohli has also become the first person from India to have 50 million followers on the micro-picture blogging website – Instagram.

Meanwhile, the Indian skipper is busy playing the Test series against New Zealand at their home.
