Of late, Virat Kohli was under the scanner for his poor captaincy in the Indian Premier League 2019. A section of people felt that Kohli should be sacked from the captaincy. However, Mohammad Azharuddin backs the Delhi lad and also believes that India would seal the victory in the ICC World Cup 2019.
Former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin backs two-time World Champion India to win the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. Azharuddin described Indian squad as a balanced one despite the controversy surrounding Ambati Rayudu’s exclusion from the side and expects them to lift the World Cup trophy in England.
India has a very good chance – Mohammad Azharuddin
With the Indian fans expecting Virat Kohli’s side to enter as favourites and secure the nation’s 3rd world title, Azharuddin believes the current squad has the potential to be crowned champions in England.

The 56-year-old former cricketer feels Team India stands a very good chance in England because of the balance Virat Kohli’s side posses in all 3 departments.
“India have a very good chance (in the World Cup) because we have got a very balanced side. We have got good bowlers, good batsmen and then our fielding is very good (and has) improved a lot over a period of time. I would be disappointed if India doesn’t win the World Cup and I’m hoping that we will bring the Cup,” he said.
No need to worry for Virat Kohli:
Speaking of Virat Kohli, he quoted that the highs and lows are the part and parcel of the game. He strongly believes that the Indian skipper will lead the team to perfection in the grand event.

“Ups and downs happen in life. But looking at his records and statistics, there is no need to worry. I feel he (Kohli) would have saved his best for the World Cup,” said the 56-year-old to PTI.
Well, as Mohammad Azharuddin said, the Indian National Cricket Team has got all the required ingredients in their kitty to make things fall in place. And also, hopefully, Virat Kohli would have saved his best for the team.
