Ashish Nehra is one of the few big names from the cricket fraternity who loves to stay away from the spotlight. No matter what the situation is, the former India pacer just loves to avoid all the attention.
He recently showed it after Gujarat Titans won the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League on Sunday (May 29) by beating Rajasthan Royals in the final. Nehra was the head coach of the franchise as they won the title in their first-ever season.
But despite the huge achievement, the Titans coach did not let his emotions get the better of him. After the presentation ceremony, he had hilariously run away when captain Hardik Pandya was giving him credit for the win.

Ashish Nehra at it again:
Ashish Nehra once again showed his humble side when the Gujarat Titans team were meeting the chief minister of the state on Monday. Following the win in IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans celebrated it with an open-top bus parade and received a rousing reception from the Ahmedabad crowd.
The bus parade started from Usmanpura Riverfront and ended at Vishwakunj Riverfront in Ahmedabad. After the parade, the players and the members of the support staff were felicitated by the state’s chief minister Bhupendrabhai Patel.
During the felicitation event, Nehra was standing in a corner while the entire team was posing with the chief minister. And as everyone was getting ready for the photo, one of the team members called Nehra and pulled him by holding his hand as the shy Titans coach was visibly not willing to stand at the centre. Nehra then greeted the chief minister with folded hands before posing for the photo.

Talking about the final, the Titans beat the Royals by 7 wickets. Batting first, the Royals could only manage a modest total of 130 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, the Gujarat-based outfit chased down the total by losing just 3 wickets and with 11 balls remaining.
