Everybody was expecting Rohit Sharma to play in the Test series against West Indies but was not selected in final XI in both the Test matches of this series. He was seen sitting out of the field in both the matches. Rohit’s performance was satisfactory in the three-day tour match against Windies A but he was replaced by Hanuma Vihari in the Test. The young Player also not disappointed the expectations of the captain.

Rohit Sharma scored a half-century in practice match against West Indies. In his last Test match against Australia in Melbourne, he scored a half-century. But all his efforts were not considered.

Though we didn’t see Sharma entertaining in the field but we saw him enjoying with his fan in the stadium. At the end of the match, Sharma noticed two boys who were wearing the Indian jersey with his name written on the back. He called out both of them and talked with them. He made the day of both fans. They both showed the dance to the player and BCCI shared the video of Rohit Sharma can be seen enjoying the dance of both the young fans.

It was also the happy day for India as India won all the series across all formats – T20I series by 3-0, ODI series by 2-0, Test series by 2-0.

Indian bowlers were successful in halting the Windies to chase the target in the last Test at Jamaica. India set the target of 468 runs but in front of India’s bowling, the West Indies were all out in 210 runs. Virat Kohli became India’s most successful captain in Test history to get 28 wins in 48 Tests. He surpassed the record of MS Dhoni who recorded 27 wins in 60 Test matches.
