West Indies vs India 2019: 1st ODI, Guyana – India’s Predicted Playing XI; Well, after the completion of the T20I series, now, it’s time for the 50-over format of the game. The Indian National Cricket Team is high on confidence and is eagerly waiting to show their class in the ODI format as well. Once again, Virat Kohli will be the number 3 batsman for India. Besides his batting, he will be the cynosure of eyes for his captaincy without MS Dhoni behind the wickets. He is eyeing a new record with the bat as well.
4. KL Rahul:
The Karnataka batsman would take his role once again for the team. He has been brilliant at that slot in the grand event and he would like to continue in the same role.
5. Shreyas Iyer:
This would be the perfect chance for Iyer to prove his mettle. He might take the place of Manish Pandey in the side for the first ODI of the series. He will be monitored closely by the selectors.
6. Rishabh Pant:
In absence of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Pant will take the keeper-work for the team. He will be nurtured by the Indian cricket for the future. The team management hopes him to come good.
7. Ravindra Jadeja:
Well, the exceptional ability to help the team across the departments will certainly help Jadeja to stay in the playing XI. The pitches in the West Indies also would help his cause.
8. Yuzvendra Chahal:
The leg-spinner will be back in the action after missing out in the shortest format of the game. The flamboyant cricketer would like to make the most of the pitches in West Indies.
9. Kuldeep Yadav:
So does Kuldeep… The combination of Chahal and Kuldeep worked well for the team and they would like to help the team once again in the West Indies. The duo got a good record in middle overs.
10. Mohammed Shami:
The flamboyant cricketer is displaying top-class skills in the recent past. He delivered the goods on a regular basis to make things fall in place for him. Shami will be a certain starter.
