India’s gun fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is breathing fire in the ongoing tour of the West Indies. Bumrah became only the third Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in Test fold after Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan. The right-arm pacer took his second five-wicket haul of the series as he continued to breathe down the neck of the Windies batsmen. Meanwhile, Indian captain Virat Kohli also played a crucial part in Bumrah’s hat-trick.

After taking the wicket of Darren Bravo and Shamarh Brooks on consecutive balls, Bumrah was also able to plumb Roston Chase in front of the wickets. However, the fast bowler was not sure whether the batsman got any bat to the ball. Kohli asked Bumrah whether is any bat connection and immediately took the review.
“Bat nahin laga, bat nahin laga [it didn’t hit the bat],” said Kohli, who then proceeded to ask for the review almost simultaneously.

Jasprit Bumrah was once again able to land his deliveries in the corridor of uncertainty. The Windies batsmen had no clue to tackle Bumrah’s assault and the pacer was once again too good for the hosts.
The fast bowler was able to get the swing at a great pace and delivered the goods for his team as Windies are tottering for 87-7. Earlier, in the first Test match, Bumrah had scalped a five-wicket haul.
