India’s dream of lifting the third World Cup might take a bit longer, and to be specific they had to wait for the 2023 World Cup. Well, Windies vs India 2019 bilateral series is quite important in many ways. Reports suggested that an ace bowler Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Hardik Pandya are expected to enjoy an extended break following a non-stop cricket. Subsequently, we are here to describe India’s probable 15-man ODI squad for the Windies tour. The much-awaited series will commence from August 3.

Consequently, India will face Windies in the three-match Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), and as many ODIs. Also, the two teams will face off in the two-match Test series which will be a part of ICC’s Test Championship for the 2019-21 cycle. Interestingly, it will begin with this particular multi-day format with the finale scheduled at Lord’s in England.

Virat Kohli will lead the team in limited-overs series, whereas, Rohit Sharma will serve as his deputy for the national team.

Team India skipper Virat Kohli has been the second leading run-getter for Team India at the World Cup. An, he is no mood to rest after playing non-stop cricket for the past two months.

The top-order batsman Kohli had amassed 443 runs at an average of 55.38 in nine matches. While playing at the strike-rate of 94.06, Kohli had slammed 38 fours and two sixes.

Kohli is ready to lead his team from the front after making it to the semis of the World Cup. Despite playing non-stop cricket, Kohli is up for the Windies challenge.

Rohit Sharma had a fantastic run in the ICC World Cup 2019. He ended up as the leading run-getter with 648 runs under his belt in nine outings.

The right-handed batsman had a dream run with the willow, which also saw him slamming five tons.

In Virat Kohli’s absence, Rohit will lead India on the Caribbean shores in August, this year. He will like to continue his form by leading from the front. He is the pure entertainer of the white-ball cricket.
