Yuvraj Singh Feels MS Dhoni Will be a Guiding Force in the 2019 World Cup

Ahead of the 2019 World Cup, Yuvraj Singh maintained senior campaigner MS Dhoni is a force to reckon for India in the ICC’s mega event in England and Wales. He added his presence has enough to offer for the Men in Blue in terms of taking crucial decisions in the 50-over format.
“I think Mahi (Dhoni) has a great cricket brain. And as a wicket-keeper, you are in the best position to monitor the game and he has done that fantastically over the years,” Yuvraj told PTI.
Moreover, Yuvraj, who played under the dynamic leadership of Dhoni, believes it would eventually help team leader like Virat Kohli on the field owing to the tactics. He added the youngsters under his guidance could excel while knowing all the basics while serving as the captain in the recent past.
In the recent past, Dhoni has had excelled when it came to the crucial stages of the game. His inputs to the youngsters have always been a healthy debate to relish, and his suggestion to skipper has been icing on the cake.
“He has been a great captain. (He is) with the young players and guiding Virat (Kohli) all the time,” Yuvraj added.
Yuvraj, who is not in the contention, as of now, knows the nitty-gritty of such coveted events. The southpaw in Yuvraj has earned the Player of the Tournament award during the 2011 World Cup.
Recently, ‘Mahi’ made a stunning return with the bat when he many lashed out at his finishing ability. Dhoni took an attack on the opposition to smash three consecutive fifties against Australia.

In conclusion, Yuvraj ducked the question regarding Dhoni’s batting position. He suggested Dhoni would be in a better place to decide upon it.
“That you have to ask Dhoni, which number he has to bat,” Yuvraj concluded.
