Once again the Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa won the ultimate battle against the Indian captain Virat Kohli in Rajkot ODI. After his latest success, Zampa became the most successful ODI spinner against Virat Kohli.
On Friday (17th January), during the first innings of the Rajkot ODI between India and Australia, Virat Kohli played an impressive knock of 78 runs off 76 balls (6 fours). However, the leg-spinner Adam Zampa again picked up his wicket although the credit should be given to Ashton Agar and Mitchell Starc. Agar worked incredibly at the boundary to take the catch and immediately deliver that to Starc before landing to the boundary, and Starc comfortably grabbed the ball before the boundary to secure Kohli’s dismissal.
It was the fifth time in ODIs and seventh time in international cricket when Adam Zampa dismissed Virat Kohli.
