Former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio (Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan) was arrested on May 9 with the charges of sexual assault. Del Rio has allegedly assaulted a woman and a report was filed to the police following which he was arrested. The complaint was lodged on May 4th that has some briefing over what went down between the two.

It said Del Rio had become angry with a woman and assaulted her which caused multiple injuries to her body. The Bexar County Central Magistrate has then Del Rio charged for a 2nd-degree sexual assault felony. A Bond was posted at $50,000 in San Antonio, Texas that is the currently residing city of Del Rio who originally belongs to Mexico.
According to News 4 San Antonio, the victim said that the assault took place on May 3 at 10:00 PM. Alberto Del Rio had slapped her across the head. He allegedly did her the same for the second time over the head, again. When she asked him what he was doing, Del Rio threatened her to drop her and her son to the middle of the road, somewhere.
The victim stated the below to the police, “They walked downstairs and he forced her to wear a dress and dance for him. She told him she didn’t want to. and he said not to cry because if she did, he would take her son and drop him in the middle of the road somewhere.”
News 4 also reported that according to an arrest affidavit, the woman told police that Alberto Del Rio sexually harassed her as well as assaulted her. These led to her injuries which was also photographed to claim evidence of the attacker’s misdeed. More updates on this case will be released, soon. In the meantime, the police have released the mugshots of Del Rio after the arrest.
