Speaking on WWE’s The Bump Youtube show, WWE RAW superstar Shayna Baszler let knew her view on Becky Lynch’s pregnancy. She already had a rivalry with the former Raw Women’s Champion to get the bad blood growing. Hence, it was pretty obvious that Baszler had some negative comments on his fellow roster member trying to enjoy motherhood.
Shayna Baszler mentioned the decision of Becky Lynch to walk out of WWE as an absolute ‘garbage’ decision. This led to her vacating the RAW Women’s Championship at a time when she had almost 398 days run with it. Baszler also noted Lynch as an ‘irresponsible’ person who just handed away the belt to whomever she felt like.

“I think it’s garbage. What are we treating?! Irresponsibility?! She had responsibilities to uphold as the champion of the division. You know what I mean? Take care of your responsibilities first. Don’t leave the division in an uproar and hand your title away to whoever you feel.
It’s ridiculous, but everyone’s like ‘It’s so wonderful la la la la la,’ but if that was your daughter you’d smack her up side the head like you need to be smarter. It’s such a double standard.” (courtesy ringsidenews.com)

Obviously, Shayna Baszler was trying to maintain her heel character during this conversation. She was the only woman on the roster who had a completely different reaction, backstage when Becky Lynch announced that she’s pregnant. She was perhaps rooting for a rematch with The Man, at some point which won’t happen for a long time.
Previously, Shayna Baszler made her main roster debut on Raw following Royal Rumble. She bit Lynch on the debut night to send a message. Later, the Queen of Spades bulldozed everyone inside the Elimination Chamber structure to get a title shot against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36. The champion successfully retained on that night via a simple roll-up that indicated the feud will continue.
But then Becky Lynch headed into the hiatus that should continue for the rest of the 2020 and perhaps for a better part of 2021, as well. Lynch took some pregnancy tests after Mania to get confirmed about motherhood and announced the good news, the night after Money In The Bank. The women’s MITB briefcase winner Asuka then automatically became the champion as Lynch already vacated the title.
