NXT hottie Chelsea Green is set to make her main roster debut, as per the reports. WWE hasn’t conducted a Superstar Shakeup in 2020 and hence the freshen-up process for both Raw and SmackDown didn’t happen, yet. They are now trying new things by calling-up a number of NXT wrestlers to the main roster, as of now. Several trades from the black and yellow brand could soon happen with Chelsea Green being one of them.

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle confirmed that Matt Riddle will be joining the SmackDown roster, while Dominik Dijakovic is expected to be the second trade on RAW anytime now. Additionally, WrestleTalk is reporting that the third NXT call-up is expected to be Chelsea Green. It was pretty much expected to go by the amount of attention she’s been garnering in recent times.
Chelsea Green teamed up with NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair to defeat Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai in a Tag Team match on last week’s episode of NXT. It helped her to get put over, big-time before she eventually gets the call-up on the mainstay scene. Once NXT went off the air, she decided to move away from the Robert Stone Brand.

During a backstage interview, Chelsea Green fired her manager, all of a sudden as she was boosted up with confidence. It was potentially done as WWE wants Chelsea Green to be a solo wrestler on the main roster. The move to one of the main roster brands seems confirmed but the source didn’t inform when and which brand Green will make her debut.
While talking about Chelsea Green, we have to mention her Instagram account where she is continuously posting photos from her latest shoot. These hot snaps are lighting up social media for good. Most of those shots were filmed in two-piece outfits and thereby becoming visual treats for the WWE Universe.
While Chelsea Green continues to grow her wings on the WWE roster, two of her closest ones lost jobs from the WWE. Her fiancée Matt Cordona (Zack Ryder) and best friend Deonna Purrazzo were two of the names who were fired due to coronavirus related budget cuts. Win Column Sports spoke to Chelsea Green about these releases and she stated the following,
“This has been happening all over the world in every profession, and it’s really, really unfortunate that two of the people who are closest to me in my life were released, but on the other hand, both of them are going to go on to do so much more, and I would feel terrible if that wasn’t the case, but that’s the case.
Like, Deonna has so much potential. She was not used in the capacity she should have been used in. Matt [her fiance Zack Ryder] has so much potential and has continued to prove that throughout his entire career. So, whatever Matt does, he’s fine. I’m really excited to see what happens once the world gets back up-and-running.” (Courtesy ringsidenews.com)
