WWE chose to host a wedding in the main event segment of this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Bobby Lashley and Lana were all set to recite the vows in the ceremony that was dubbed as the wedding of the decade.

It ended in utter chaos where a couple of spouses of both the superstars arrived at the scene. Later, Liv Morgan and Rusev appeared on the scene to take the drama forward.

Some of the fans have not liked the overdramatic segment on WWE Raw and CM Punk was definitely one of them. In fact, he noticed WWE was hyping up the segment and instantly reacted to it.

Return Of Brock Lesnar & Title Matches Announced For First WWE Raw Of 2020

As you can see in the tweets, the former WWE Champion was referring to himself when the company fired him on his wedding day. He would not be surprised if someone from Lashley and Lana would have suffered the same consequences.

Unfortunately, they have not been fired on WWE Raw but suffered nightmares following what transpired on the show. It should make CM Punk happy who previously traded shots at Lana stating he wants to see her hanging inside a shark cage at WrestleMania 36 where Bobby Lashley and Rusev will be fighting. The Ravishing Russian was not happy and took shots on him on Twitter.

In case you have forgotten, CM Punk was not able to compete after dealing with injuries and did not want to wrestle anymore in 2014. He later decided to walk out of the company on the Monday Night following the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in the same year.

After some days, news arrived that WWE fired Punk on his wedding day with the former Divas Champion, AJ Lee. As noted by Punk, there’s truth to what the rumors suggested, previously.

Punk is not under contract with the WWE, at all as noted on previous occasions. He wouldn’t be appearing on the WWE Backstage show until January 21st.
