These two have been involved in perhaps the best storyline possible, heading into the biggest event of the year speculating a big-time match.

So, The Rated R Superstar opened WWE RAW and challenged Randy Orton to a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania, right away. Edge revealed that his wife and another Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, came to the show, two weeks ago to announce his retirement again.

It was then when Orton planted her with an RKO. Edge then went on telling Orton to have some guts and accept the challenge. He also promised that The Viper won’t be able to get back up after their fight at WrestleMania.

Meanwhile, Edge’s journey to this week’s WWE Raw that was moved to the WWE Performance Center due to the coronavirus pandemic, was not a pleasant experience, at all.

As noted by her wife, Beth Phoenix on Twitter, Edge had travel issues, which could have been related to the COVID-19 outbreak. Because of the issues, Edge had to drive 17 long hours to get to Orlando, Florida.

There’s no confirmation yet on where Edge was traveling from en route to this week’s WWE Raw. Originally, it takes around 8.5 hours to drive from Asheville, North Carolina, where he and Beth live, to Orlando. Edge tweeted on Sunday on this trip saying that he was hitting the highway in his pickup truck to get to the show.
